To say a big thank you!

Id like to say a huge thank you to the amazing Christine Smith and Barbra Bertram who were kind enough to buy my work. You have no idea how much it meant to me, it has made my confidence in myself and my work grow about a billion percent and i don't think I've stopped smiling since!

The Festival of Quilts was amazing!

The response from the public to my show was amazing! It was such a different space to what i had at new designers and i was completely on my own so it was a little scary at first but after setting up my first solo exhibition space i felt co confident in myself. I had so much positive response from my fellow exhibitors and the diverse range of quilters who flocked to the festival which really gave me the drive to see how far i can push myself to go the distance.

As you can see i did a lot of work before the festival to show different ways my work can be used. My favourite is my big round poof!

The Festival of Quilts!

11th- 14th August
NEC (Birmingham)
10.00am to 5.30pm (closes 5.00pm Sunday)

From exhibiting at New Designers i was selected as one of only 10 graduate students from across the country to exhibit my work at The Graduate Showcase taking place within The Festival of Quilts! I'm really excited as i will be given 4 times the amount of space i had for new designers and I'm doing it independently with no help from my tutors. Fingers crossed i pull it out the bag!

NEW DESIGNERS 2011!

I was one of the very luck few designers that were picked to exhibit at New Designers 2011 to represent Birmingham City University and i was sooooooooo excited! It was an amazing experience which i did not take for granted for one second. Speaking to different designers and visitors gave me so much and i had a little interest too!
